DUTY AREA # 3 FACILITATING CLIENT’S SELF ADMINISTRATION / ASSISTING WITH MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION
DUTY AREA # 4 ASSISTING CLIENT WITH SELF-ADMINISTRATION OF PREPARED INSTILLATIONS & TREATMENTS
DUTY AREA # 5 ASSISTING THE DIABETIC CLIENT / PREPARING & INJECTING INSULIN
CERTIFICATION OF COMPLETION
This course is designed to teach the safe administration of medication in facilities licensed by Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services (DBHDS). Course consist of 32 clock hours of didactic training. Certificate issued upon completion.
It is recommended that facilities orient Medication Aides to protocols and documentation practices specific to their organization to enhance the effectiveness of the Medication Aide.
