Course Overview

Heart failure is a chronic condition in which the heart cannot pump blood effectively to meet the body’s needs. Caregivers play a critical role in monitoring symptoms, preventing complications, supporting medication adherence and promoting quality of life.

This course provides caregivers with practical knowledge and skills needed to safely care for clients living with heart failure in home care, assisted living or long-term care settings.
