Course Objective:

By the end of this in-service, participants will be able to:

1. Define swallowing difficulty (dysphagia)
2. Recognize common causes and warning signs of swallowing difficulty
3. Demonstrate safe feeding and positioning techniques based on a care plan
4. Describe safe feeding and swallowing practices
5. Respond correctly to coughing/choking and know when/how to report changes
