TRUDENA S. Hello my name is TRUDENA SPENCE ,I am a 38 year old African- American female. Ive been taking care of the elderly in my family including, my grandmother’s , aunties and also my mother. That was by choice , because i love and have so much respect for my elders. I feel its important to try to let the elderly feel important, secure , that there’s someone who will listen as far as conversation , and as well as any discomfort or unordinary pain . Ive always made sure they stick to there diet provided by there doctor on schedule. If they dont have a certain diet and can eat freely. i make sure i know what they would prefer to eat. I also would make sure they take there meds as scheduled by there doctor. I have over 50 neices and nephews which i helped raised. So i am very good with the youth as well. Even though ive been doing this type of work, these courses and certifications has educated me so much and i am so thankful. Im so excited, thankful and i can not wait to help others!! THANK YOU
